Sketch's Pad Page #45 Juxtapoz turns 18

JUXTAPOZ Magazine has opened the door to countless Artists and an entire Art Movement. Started by the Godfather of Lowbrow, Robert Williams in 1994, its mission was to smash open the Art World. In 2012 it celebrated it's 18th year in publication and its rise to the best selling Art magazine in the world. See the spectacle as hosted by Copro Gallery.
"Hail the Voyeur!"
The painting animation on this one took me awhile but I am pretty happy with how it came out.

Sketch's Pad Page #44 Neverlasting Miracles

Very happy with how this one came out. The music (ripped from Fleischer Superman's) fits very well with Mr Schorr's work. Schorr also liked the video and posted it on his site for a time!

Sketch's Pad Page #43 Robert Williams Toon'd: The Student

Time for some Art fun. Been tying to get back to the basics so here is a short cartoon I did from a conversation I had with Robert Williams. I'd like to do more of these if I can get the time. It's really short so enjoy:

Sketch's Pad Page #41 ACID HEAD: The Conceptual Realism Of Robert Williams

Here are some stills from my latest Robert Williams film, ACID HEAD: The Conceptual Realism Of Robert Williams, followed by the Youtube blurb and link, enjoy!

"Robert Williams has been fouling the Art World's nest since 1957 and is still going strong. The Godfather of Lowbrow Art and founder of Juxtapoz Magazine pulls no punches in this mind expanding presentation from the 2011 Los Angeles Art Fair."
